A few years ago a video was made about me called The Morris Gleitzman Video (a title I thought up myself). In it I describe how I go about writing my books, starting with putting off getting started right through to getting started and eventually finishing. Along the way I also talk about the whole process of book production and publication.

I'm planning to do another video at the end of this year, and for this one I need your help. I want to put together 30 minutes of advice, hints, tips, techniques and inspirational moments for young writers in the classroom and at home. The sort of thing that'll make people want to rush off and start writing even before the tape's rewound.

I've got lots of ideas about what to put in it, but I'm also keen to hear from young writers and their teachers on the subject.
