You may remember back in January I announced a brave new experiment. I promised that, for a couple of months at least, I would answer every email I received. (Except for ads for nude carwashes.)

And I did. To everyone who sent me emails, thanks. Answering them was a lot of fun. But unfortunately the process has taken its toll. If you peeked in at my place at the moment you'd see not only the first draft of a new book in desperate need of a second draft, but also unwashed clothes, ungroomed pets, unmown grass, unpaid bills and unread books. My whole life is starting to sound like a Paul Jennings title.

So, sadly, I have to advise that the experiment is over for now. But please don't stop sending me your emails. I promise I'll still read them all and I'll still put the funniest, kindest, rudest and most interesting ones on the site each month.

The other thing I want to mention is that for all you canny shoppers, the wait is over. It can't have been easy, holding off buying Deadly until the single volume was published, but your patience has been rewarded because the Six-In-One volume is out now. And it is quite a bit cheaper than the six separate volumes added together. Well done. Plus having the story in one fat book has another advantage. Dogs can't fit it in their mouths so easily. Always a bonus.
