Calling all quiz whizzes. Penguin Books have decided to hold a Morris Gleitzman quiz to celebrate the launch of my new book Teacher's Pet on May 5th.

('Celebrate' is a publishing term meaning to promote, plug, publicize, create awareness of, flog big time. Just wanted to clarify that.)

But it'll still be a fun quiz. The prize is $6000 worth of Puffin books – $2000 worth for the winner and $4000 worth for their school. I can't tell you much more about the quiz at this stage because the Penguin people are still working out the details, but from May 5th you'll be able to find out all you need to know, and submit your entry, via this site.

One clue I can give you – the people who'll have the best crack at the prize will be people who've either read all my books or who have a group of friends who've read all my books or who can thumb through my books really quickly in a library or bookshop.
