G'day #51    9 March 2004

G'day.

If you haven't had a squiz at the Free Book Page for a while, take a peek this visit. It's all changed. A new page and a new free signed book. Requests for the new one are already pouring in, but we've still got lots left so if you'd like one, head over there and find out how to get your copy.

Not yet, though. There's other stuff I want to tell you about first.

Starting with the other new page on the site this month – Morris In Schools. If you'd like me to visit your school, this is the page to go to. As the page explains, sometimes a school visit involves a bit of date-juggling and map-studying and fund-raising, but there's a good chance I'll get there sooner or later. I'll even bring my own signing pen.

I also want to let you know about some literary festivals I'm going to this year in case any are in your area and you have the chance to pop in and say g'day.

From 17 to 20 March I'll be at the Somerset Celebration Of Literature at Somerset College in Mudgeeraba, Qld.

On the 22nd and 23rd June, the Voices On The Coast Festival at Immanuel College in Maroochydore, Qld.

On 25 June I'm speaking at the ALEA/TATE Conference in Hobart.

From 11 to 17 July, the Norfolk Island Writers And Readers Festival.

And from 21 to 24 July, the Whitsunday Voices Festival at the Whitsunday Anglican School in Proserpine.

There's also a very good chance I'll be at the Warrnambool Childrens Festival in early July and the Byron Bay Writers Festival in late July.

That's it for now. Go get that free book. Until next time, oo-roo and happy reading.
